From our award-wining 6-color offset Planeta sheet-fed presses to our high volume Color King Web Offset press, The Merrick Printing Company, Inc., can cover the entire spectrum of printing needs. For short run traditional four-color offset which is fast and cost effective, we have the Heidelberg Quickmaster DI with direct-to-plate laser technology.

In 1997 alone, Merrick Printing Company won 7 awards of merit at the `97 Printing Industries of America Graphic Awards Competition and a total of 25 awards at the `97 Printing Industries of the South Awards Competition, including 1 Eagle, 2 Best of Category, 25 awards of excellence, and 2 awards of merit. Among the awards for excellence was the embossed Kentucky Derby Festival Poster for 1997.

The Merrick Printing Company received 17 awards in the 1998 Premier Print Awards international competition, including two Bennys, the highest level award presented in the industry, often referred to as the "Oscar" of Printing.

With a total of 17 awards in 1998, Merrick is listed among the Top 10 International Winners in terms of overall awards, and received more awards than any other Louisville printer. There were nearly 5,000 entries from more than 870 companies worldwide.
